# Sunday cats: fascinating mystery about scales and animals

The beginning of Sunday, and for the larks - almost the middle - is an excellent reason to solve an exciting puzzle about scales and animals. And so, imagine a dog, a cat and a hare. A hare with a cat weighs 10 kg. Cat with a dog - 24 kg. A dog with a hare - 20 kg. How much do a dog, cat and hare weigh together, if you put them on a scale?

It is necessary not only to apply all his ingenuity, but also to recall the lessons of mathematics at school. The answer, as usual, we will post below illustrations, so you can check yourself. However, we strongly recommend not to pry!

The correct answer is 27 kg.

How did you manage to calculate this? We have sums by weight of animals - these are 10, 20 and 24 kg. They need to be folded. It turns out 54 kg. This equation looks like this:

(k + s) + (c + s) + (k + s) = 54
K + H + C + H + K + C = 54
2k + 2h + 2s = 54: (2)

As a result, the cat, the hare and the dog together weigh 27 kg.
