Chrissy Teigen Has Cravings, and Got Baby Naming Advice from Barack Obama
Chrissy Teigen Got Baby Name Advice From President Obama
When it comes to the tough decision of naming your first child, most mothers-to-be consult their partners, family members and closest friends. Chrissy Teigen consulted President Obama.
To promote her new cookbookCravingsonThe Late Show with Stephen Colbertlast night, Teigen revealed that her baby is due in mid-April, but she and her husband John Legend are still deciding on a name, "We change it all the time," the model said on the show.
Luckily she got some help from a very reliable source. "I asked Barack," Teigen said, casually referring to the president and taking Colbert by surprise. "We're like very first-name basis," she explained.
Teigen turned to President Obama, hoping his approval of her name choice would convince her husband to get on board. Apparently, Legend wasn't sold on the name because he thinks it's "too Hollywood," but the president was a fan.
She didn't share the name with the audience, but she did whisper it to Colbert. "I love that," he responded.
Watch Teigen share the story (and a delicious spring roll recipe) below.
